American Heart Association BLS Provider CPR Classes in Redwood City

Price for full course: $80, includes the course manual. We are now using the AHA BLS Provider manual with the 2015 guidelines. If you bring a copy of the new manual to your class, you will be charged $15 less.
Payment: Pay at your class by cash or check. Make checks payable to “In Home CPR”. We do not accept credit cards at the classroom.
Skills Session: $50. This is for students who have completed Part 1 of the BLS on-line course. Click here to register for the on-line portion of the course.
Certification card: You will receive your American Heart Association BLS certification card at your class. The card is valid for two years.
Class Content: This course covers infant CPR, child CPR, and adult CPR with 1 and 2 rescuers; CPR with an advanced airway; using a bag mask device; choking emergencies; using an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
Audience: The class is for healthcare professionals needing a BLS certification renewal or taking BLS training for the first time. Professions that usually require a BLS certification include: Nurse (RN), licensed vocational nurse (LVN), nursing assistant (certified nursing assistant, CNA), nursing student, clinical/medical technician, dentist, dental assistant, respiratory therapist, emergency medical technician (EMT), emergency medical responder (EMR), pharmacist, physical therapist and occupational therapist.
Many people are confused by the class name. You may know this class as the BLS CPR class, CPR BLS class, BLS Healthcare Providers class or even CPR for Healthcare Providers. All of these are this class. If your supervisor says you need a CPR certificate or BLS certificate and you work in healthcare, this is the class you need to take.
