Scheduling a First Aid Class With Us

When you have a couple of dates and start times in mind, contact us, and we will find a day/start time that works for both of us. We are available seven days a week, including evenings.

First Aid Class Content

  1. Before Giving Care: recognizing a medical emergency and knowing when to call 911.
  2. Assessment: Assessing a conscious person for injuries and gathering important medical information from a victim.
  3. Choking: Using abdominal thrusts (also known as the Heimlich Maneuver) if someone is choking. Unconscious choking is also covered.
  4. Sudden Illness: Recognizing and responding to heart attack, shock, anaphylaxis (allergic reaction) asthma, using an EpiPen, fainting, diabetic emergencies, seizures, and stroke.
  5. Injuries: Burns, muscle, bone and joint injuries; bleeding, using a tourniquet, head, neck and spinal injuries.
  6. Environmental Emergencies: bites and stings, heat and cold-related emergencies, poisoning, tick removal.

Which Industries Need a First Aid Certification?

We know First Aid certification requirements for many industries, so ask us if a First Aid certification is the right class for your group. Non-medical professionals who need a First Aid certification should take this class.

When Do I Receive My Certification Card?

First Aid Certifications are now eCards — an electronic certification that you can store on your phone, laptop, or cloud. Because your certification is a PDF file it can be printed on paper or emailed. If you are a company supervisor, our office manager will give you copies of everyone’s certifications for your records. We are always available to assist you if you have any problems accessing your certifications.

All of our instructors are EMTs, Paramedics, and RNs who take pride in the quality of their classes.

How Do I Pay for a Class?

We are flexible on the method of payment: cash, check, credit card or an invoice.
