Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Classes in Redwood City

Price: $95, includes the course manual.
Certification: Until December 1, 2017 this will be an American Heart Association course. After December 1, 2017, it will be an American Red Cross course. Both certifications fulfill the EMSA’s First Aid and CPR AED requirements for licensed daycare and preschool teachers.
Payment: Pay at your class by cash or check. We do not accept credit cards at the classroom.
Duration: 8 hours
Certification card: You will receive your American Heart Association Pediatric First Aid CPR AED certification card at the class. The card is valid for two years.
Class Content: This course covers choking emergencies, bleeding, burns, electrical injuries, diabetic emergencies, shock, allergic reactions, poisoning, heat and cold related illnesses, bites and stings, sprains and fractures, fainting and seizures. CPR and using an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
Audience: Professions and individuals that usually need a Pediatric First Aid CPR AED certification include: adopting parents, daycare provider, preschool teacher, special education teacher, camp counselor, nanny, au pair and babysitter. This class fulfills California’s EMSA requirements for daycare providers and preschool teachers. It is comparable to the class offered by the 4Cs. It’s also a great class for new or expecting parents.
